A Guide To All The LEGO Toy Story Sets

Toy Story is one of the most famous cartoon movies ever created and one of the main reasons Pixar has become so famous and admired. For those fans that are both fans of Toy Story and LEGO, this is your list. We have collected all the LEGO Toy Story sets in one resource so you can browse through them easily and pick the ones you like the most.

There are, in total, 21 sets that are marked as Toy Story in Brickset. In order to make them easier to find, we have divided them by film, starting with the latest film and going backward.

Toy Story 4

Released in 2019, Toy Story 4 is the sequel of Toy Story 3 and the latest Toy Story film to date. In this film, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and the rest of the group go on a road trip with Bonnie and a new toy named Forky. During this journey, Woody ends up meeting his long-lost friend Bo Peep.

10766: Woody & RC

The Woody & RC set, released in 2019, is the first set on the list based on Toy Story 4. This set is aimed at children starting at 4 years old. This way, preschoolers and youngsters will be able to build a constructing vehicle on their own, in part thanks to the Starter Brick chassis. The guide will help your children understand the purpose of the building steps so it can become more and more acquainted with LEGO brick building. The set includes a Woody minifigure for role-playing.

This set contains 69 figures and, when built, the RC car measures over 2” (6cm) high, 3” (9cm) long, and 2” (6cm) wide. In addition to the car and a Woody minifigure, this set includes 3 green army men, remote control for the RC toy car, six buildable display bricks, and three buildable cones.

10767: Duke Caboom’s Stunt Show

The Duke Caboom’s Stunt Show is another set based on Toy Story 4, also released in 2019. This one features a ring of fire with an attached ramp. This set, as the previous one, is recommended starting at each 4, so it is a great gift for preschoolers and youngsters. This set includes two special Starter Brick plates that will allow the children to easily construct vehicles, buildings, and more, all on their own.

This set contains 120 pieces. In addition to the ramp and the ring of fire, this set includes a buildable toy motorcycle, three stackable cans, two cars, and a stunt sign that can be knocked down. When built, the ramp with the ring of fire measures over 7” (18cm) high, 8” (22cm) wide and 4” (12cm) deep. The motorcycle, on the other hand, measures over 1” (3cm) high and 2” (6cm) long. The cars each measure over 1” (4cm) long and 1” (3cm) wide. As minifigures, this set includes Duke Caboom and Woody.

10768: Buzz and Bo Peep’s Playground Adventure

The Buzz and Bo Peep’s Playground Adventure set features a 2-level playhouse and it was released in 2019. This includes a bridge, a climbing wall, a slide, a bubble window stand, a kitchen area, and a special Starter Brick base plate that will allow the children to construct the building on their own. This set is also recommended for ages 4 and over, making it perfect for young children and preschoolers.

This set contains 139 pieces. Some of these pieces have been done with the new sustainable LEGO® plant-based plastic trees. Accessory elements include Bo Peep’s shepherd crook, frying pan, and an egg. The playhouse measures over 6” (17cm) high, 9” (25cm) wide and 4” (12cm) deep. The RV Vacation set features an RV (recreational vehicle) with a special Starter Brick chassis, that will allow young children and preschoolers to build the vehicle on their own. This set was released in 2019. The vehicle also has a removable roof and the interior includes a bed, a toilet, and a sink. Finally, the set also includes a park building wall with a special Starter Brick baseplate, a tree, a picnic table, and a grill.  This set is also recommended for ages 4 and over, making it the perfect gift for preschoolers and youngsters.

The set contains 178 pieces. Out of these pieces, it features 2 of the new sustainable LEGO® plant-based plastic trees. The “Buzz & Woody’s Carnival Mania!” set will allow your children to share the excitement and joy of a carnival. This set features a colorful carnival shooting game and it was released in 2019. This game includes a laser cannon and a large sign, plus a special Starter Brick base plate that gives every child the opportunity to construct buildings, and vehicles on his or her own. This fun preschool toy building set also includes a spinning Terrorantulus ride, 2 bumper cars with Starter Brick chassis, and an ice cream shop with register, table and benches, and a sign. This pack is also recommended for ages 4 and over, making it perfect for preschoolers and young children.

This set contains 230 pieces. It also contains five minifigures, including 3 Toy Story character minifigures: Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Bo Peep, plus Ducky and Bunny LEGO figures. 10771: Carnival Thrill Coaster

The Carnival Thrill Coaster set is the last set based on Toy Story 4 and it was released in 2019. This set, also designed around the carnival, features a colorful roller coaster with 3 cars, 6 track sections, and a large entrance arch with a spinning turnstile. The set also includes a special Starter Brick as all the previous sets. Like all the other sets based on Toy Story 4, this set is aimed at children 4 and over, and it is a perfect gift for preschoolers and smaller children.

This set contains 98 pieces, making it the second-smallest of the Toy Story 4 series. The Carnival Thrill Coaster includes two Toy Story character minifigures: Buzz Lightyear and Alien. This set also includes an ice cream wagon with a balloon. Accessory elements include a camera, one ice cream element, and a delicious-looking pizza pie. When built, the Thrill Coaster with arch measures over 3” (10cm) high, 11” (28cm) wide and 11” (29cm) deep. The coaster cars each measure over 6” (16cm) long and 1” (3cm) wide. Toy Story 3

In Toy Story 3, Andy is about to leave for college. Just before then, his toys are mistakenly delivered to a daycare center. Woody convinces the other toys that they were not dumped and leads them on an expedition back home. Toy Story 3 was the sequel of Toy Story 2, and it was released in 2010.

7596: Trash Compactor Escape

The first set from Toy Story 3 is the Trash Compactor Escape set. This set, released in 2010, includes a buildable trash compactor with a conveyor belt, and an incinerator, and a crane with a claw. With this set, your kids will be able to role-play Lotso the Bear trying to destroy Hamm and Woody, while two alien minifigures try to rescue them. This set is aimed at children ages 7 to 12 years old.

This set contains 370 pieces. As minifigures, it includes Lotso, Hamm, Woody, and 2 alien minifigures. When built, the trash compactor measures 16” (40cm) and 8” (20cm) high. This set includes gears that will make the conveyor belt move or the bucket throw a minifigure onto the belt.

7597: Western Train Chase

The Western Train Chase set was released in 2010. It features the opening scene from Toy Story 3, with the western train that has a steam locomotive and three wagons. From this train, the passenger car and caboose have no interior detailing. This set is recommended for ages 8 to 14 years old.

This set contains 584 figures. It also includes six minifigures: Buzz, Woody, Jessie, Bullseye, Rex, and Hamm as “Evil Doctor Porkchop”. When built, the train measures over 23” (58cm) long and 4” (10cm) high. The rail car doors open and the train cars attach to the rails with magnetic bricks. There are also trap doors on the rooftop.

7599: Garbage Truck Getaway

The Garbage Truck Getaway is a Toy Story 3 set released in 2010 as a limited edition. The set is based on a scene from Toy Story 3, where all the toys are taken by a garbage truck. The set features a garbage truck with a dumpster lifter to dump the contents of the dumpster automatically into the back. The truck has an opening roof.

This set contains 402 pieces. It includes four minifigures: Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, Lotso, and Twitch. Twitch and the dirt variation of Jessie and Buzz Lightyear are exclusive minifigures from this set and cannot be found in any other set. The truck measures 8.5” (22cm) long and 5” (13cm) high. In the United Kingdom and Sweden, this set was a Toys R Us exclusive.

7789: Lotso’s Dump Truck

Lotso’s Dump Truck is the last set from Toy Story 3. Also released in 2010, this set reenacts a scene from Toy Story 3. This set focuses on Lotso’s truck.  In the front are two head-lights that resemble those of the 8958 Granite Grinder. This set is recommended for kids ages 6 to 12.

The Lotso’s Dump Truck contains 129 pieces. It also contains 4 minifigures: Lotso, Chunk, Stretch, and Dump Truck Driver. When built, the truck measures over 5.5” (14 cm) long and 3.5” (9 cm) tall. The back of the track can be lifted up as with a normal dump truck.

30070: Alien Space Ship

The Alien Space Ship is a polybag set released in 2010. It is a simple set part of the Toy Story 3 series. The set was available in several special offers in different countries. For example, in France, it came with any €20 purchase on Toy Story Lego. In the United Kingdom, it was part of the promotion from Tesco ‘Kids Fruit’, £2.29 each with 3 tokens. In Australia, it was given with any LEGO Toy Story purchase at TowWorld stores. Finally, in the United States of America, it was for sale in Toys R Us.

This set contains 29 pieces and it includes an Alien. It is recommended for children ages 5 through 12.

30071: Army Jeep

The Army Jeep is another polybag set released in 2010. This set features a small green army jeep. It is also part of the Toy Story 3 series. This set was available in the United Kingdom through a TRU promotion. It was free when spending more than £30 on Toy Story LEGO. In the United States, this could only be bought in Target.

This polybag set contains 37 pieces. It also has a minifigure: a Green Army Man with a radio. It is recommended for children ages 5 through 12.

30072: Woody’s Camp Out

The “Woody’s Camp Out” set is another polybag set released in 2010. This set was exclusively available with the Daily Mirror newspaper in the United Kingdom on July 17th, 2010. The set features Woody with a long bench, a lantern, and a campfire.

This set contains 18 pieces. In addition to Woody’s minifigure, this set includes a pan, a sausage, and a snake. It is recommended for children ages 5 through 12.

30073: Buzz’s Mini Ship

The last set related to Toy Story 3 is Buzz’s Mini Ship polybag set. This set was exclusively released with the Daily Mirror newspaper in the United Kingdom one day after Woody’s Camp Out, on July 18th, 2010. The set features an open-air spaceship with a Star Command logo on the front.

This set contains 23 pieces. It also contains a Buzz Lightyear minifigure. This set is recommended for children ages 5 through 12, like the last three polybag sets we have explained.

Toy Story 2

Released in 1999, Toy Story 2 plot goes around Woody being kidnapped by a greedy toy collector and being nowhere to be found. Buzz and his friends set out to rescue him. However, Woody gets tempted by the idea of becoming immortal in a museum. Toy Story 2 was the sequel of Toy Story and the second film of the Toy Story franchise.

7593: Buzz’s Star Command Spaceship

Buzz’s Star Command Spaceship set was released at the end of 2009. It is based on a scene from Toy Story 2 where Rez is playing a video game. The set contains Buzz’s spaceship and a small Star Command land vehicle. This set is built for children ages 7 to 14 and it is an excellent set for some role-playing with the two vehicles.

This set contains 257 pieces. It also includes two minifigures: Buzz Lightyear and Zurg. The spaceship measures over 7″ (18cm) tall. The back of the spaceship opens, as does the cockpit, where you can seat Buzz at the controls of the spaceship.

7594: Woody’s Roundup!

Woody’s Roundup set was released at the end of 2009. This set features a Sheriff’s building with a jail next door, a mine with a crate containing mining tools, a water trough, a snake, and a cactus. This set is recommended for children ages 6 to 12.

The set contains 502 pieces. It also includes four minifigures: Woody, Jessi, Bullseye, and Stinky Pete. When built, the set measures over 11″ (28cm) long, 8″ (20cm) tall, and over 4″ (10cm) wide.

7598: Pizza Planet Truck Rescue

The Pizza Planet Truck Rescue set was released in 2010 and it was sold as a Target exclusive set. This set features a large yellow pizza truck with opening doors, a pizza launcher, an opening boot and size pizzas (the most pizzas ever released in a set). The set, even though it is branded as Toy Story 3, actually is based on a scene from Toy Story 2 where the toys steal a pizza truck. That is why it is categorized within Toy Story 2 sets. The set is aimed at children aged 6 to 12.

This set contains 225 pieces. It also contains four minifigures: an Alien, Buzz Lightyear, Hamm, and Rex. The truck, when built, measures 8″ (20cm) long and over 4″ (10cm) high. The set has a secret pizza flinger that is hidden under the truck.

Toy Story

The first Toy Story film was released in 1995 and it was the first feature film from Pixar. It was also the first entirely computer-animated feature film. The film is based on a world where toys are living things but pretend to be lifeless when humans are present.

In that world, a group of toys, owned by a boy named Andy Davis, fear they will be replaced by new toys that Andy receives during his birthday party. The toys are relieved when the party appears to end without any of them being supplanted by newer toys, but then Andy receives a surprise gift: a Buzz Lightyear action figure.

7590: Woody and Buzz to the Rescue

The Woody and Buzz to the Rescue set was released in 2010 and it is the first set on the list based on the Toy Story movie. This set focuses on Woody and Buzz and includes RC and Buzz’s rocket. This set is based on a scene from Toy Story and it is intended for children ages six through twelve.

The set contains 92 figures. It also contains two minifigures, Buzz Lightyear and Woody. RC, when built, measures over 5″ (13cm) long.

7591: Construct-a-Zurg

Construct-a-Zurg is a constructible action figure of Emperor Zurg released in 2010 inside the Toy Story theme. It features poseable arms, a rotating waist, and an arm cannon. This set is designed for children ages seven through fourteen.

This set contains 118 pieces. It also contains one minifigure, an Alien. When finished, Emperor Zurg measures over 9” (23cm) tall. The arm cannon is a powerful sphere-shooting cannon.

7592: Construct-a-Buzz

Construct-a-Buzz is similar to Construct-a-Zurg. In this case, it is a constructible action figure of Buzz Lightyear. It was released in 2010 and it is part of the Toy Story theme. This figure features poseable legs and arms, retracting wings, a visor that can open and close, and a flick-fire missile to represent the character’s laser. This set is recommended for children ages 7 through 14.

This set contains 205 figures. It also contains an Alien minifigure as the Emperor Zurg figure. When built, the figure measures over 7″ (18cm) tall and has a wingspan measuring over 7″ (18cm) wide.

7595: Army Men on Patrol

The Army Men on Patrol is the last set from LEGO in this list. Released in 2010, this set includes a green army jeep with a green stretcher. It also includes two rifles, two binoculars, and a metal detector. This set is recommended for children ages 6 through 12. The set is based on a scene from the first Toy Story movie. However, a jeep was never present in that scene.

The set contains 90 pieces. It also contains four Green Army Man minifigures: one minesweeper, one rifleman, one medic, and one radioman/spotter. The Jeep is equipped with an extra tire. When built, it measures over 3″ (8cm) long.
