  • Step Four: Align the clean water tank with the grooves located at the bottom of the unit’s upper handle and slide the tank into place.
  • Step Five: Wrap the electrical cord around the unit’s quick-release cord wrap hook, and the carry handle and assembly is complete.

How to Use Bissell Proheat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner Attachments

The Bissell Proheat 2X Revolution Pet Pro comes with a hose and two cleaner attachments: a 2-in-1 Pet Upholstery Tool, and a Tough Stain Tool. Other available attachments include a 3-in-1 Stair Tool, a Deep Reach Pet Stain Tool, a Powered TurboBrush Hand Tool, and other smaller accessories.

Below are detailed instructions for attaching the hose and tool. Additionally, we are including step-by-step instructions for using the 2-in-1 Pet Upholstery Tool. You can click here for a YouTube video that covers the use of the Stair, Deep Reach Pet Stain, and Powered TurboBrush tools.

Attaching a Hose and Tool

  • Step One: Lift open the accessory hose door located on the front of the top of the foot of the machine. (The door flips upwards toward the machine to open.)
  • Step Two: Insert the hose and snap it into place, making sure the red-colored hose release clip is facing outwards, away from the base of the machine.
  • Step Three: Attach whichever tool you want to use to the other end of the hose. Press the power button to the “On” position on the machine to begin using the tool.

Using the 2-in1 Pet Upholstery Tool

  • Step One: Follow the previous instructions for attaching the hose to the machine. Then, attach the 2-in-1 tool and select dry mode to pick up hair and other dry debris. (The suction will be concentrated at the lower part of the tool next to the dry cup.)
  • Step Two: Using a raking motion, start with the tool located farthest away from you and pull the tool towards you. The rubber nubs on the tool will help attract hair and other debris and direct it toward the suction channel.
  • Step Three: Empty the cup as needed by turning off the machine and holding the cup and twisting it counter-clockwise until the arrow and unlock symbol line up. You can then remove the cup and empty it.
  • Step Four: Reattach the cup by lining up the arrow with the unlock symbol. Then, rotate the cup clockwise until it locks into place.
  • Step Five: To deep clean, move the switch to the wet mode and press the trigger to spray water and formula. Use the top portion of the nozzle to extract stains and odors.
  • Step Six: Press and hold the trigger down and pull the tool towards you from the farthest location like you did using the tool’s dry mode. Be sure to keep the tool in contact with the surface you are cleaning as you pull the tool towards you.
  • Step Seven: Be sure to remove any remaining hair and debris from the cup and nozzle before storing the 2-in-1 tool.
  • Step Eight: Remove any hair or other trapped debris from the nozzle by first, turning off the machine. Then, pull the nozzle tab away from the tool to remove it.
  • Step Nine: Rinse the nozzle tool in a sink or drain using clean water. Then, replace the tool by lining up its edge and snapping it into place.
