This is a simple and delicious homemade alfredo sauce. You’ll find most of my recipes are simple with real ingredients…or as real as possible. My family likes chicken alfredo. When I first tried this, I was surprised at how easy it is to make without buying a jar of sauce from the local store.
Homemade Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1/2 c butter
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 c heavy cream
- 1 c milk
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- Parmesan cheese
- Parsley (dried or fresh)
- Salt and pepper
Directions: Melt butter and cream cheese in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir with a wire whisk until smooth. Slowly add milk, whisking to smooth any lumps. Add garlic, salt and pepper. Heat through.
Toss with cooked, diced chicken and noodles. Top with cheese and parsley.
