Cream & Honey Facial Homemade Recipe | Essential Homestead

Cream & Honey Facial Homemade Recipe | Essential Homestead

Here’s an easy honey facial you can make at home.

Our skin is the largest organ on our body.  Our skin absorbs a large percentage of what it’s exposed too.  That’s why I try to have knowledge of the ingredients I’m using on myself and my family.  This cream and honey facial recipe will moisturize and nourish the skin.
Honey is naturally antibacterial, so it’s great for acne treatment and prevention. Honey is full of antioxidants, it is great for slowing down aging.  It is extremely moisturizing and soothing, so it helps create a glow.  It will also remove dirt and grime without stripping the natural oils.
Yogurt naturally reduces fine lines and wrinkles. The lactic acid in yogurt will help dissolve dead skin and tighten pores. When topically applied to the skin, a velvety yogurt face mask will help moisturize, fight acne, prevent premature aging, relieve sunburn, and reduce discoloration. It’s an all-around beauty multi-tasker.
Myrrh essential oil promotes a youthful-looking complexion and offers a soothing sensation to the skin. Another way to use Myrrh oil for skin, consider adding one or two drops of the oil to your daily lotion or moisturizer. This mixture can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, particularly when used daily.
Frankincense oil contains properties that help revitalize and beautify the skin, this honey facial with Frankincense essential oil will prove ideal for facial care. For best results, apply this facial to your skin once a week and enjoy that continual fresh glow.
