How to Use Screen Mirroring on Panasonic Tv: Simple Guide

Watching videos on your phone can do when you have nothing else, but at least I can attest to the fact that nothing feels as fun as watching a video on a large-screen TV. With a Panasonic TV at home, I couldn’t help but wonder – is there a way that I can watch all of my favorite media from my phone on my TV? Luckily, there is a way to make this happen, and that is through a process known as screen mirroring.

You can mirror the screen from your phone onto your Panasonic TV using a very simple process. All you need is to connect the TV to the same WiFi network, and then you can use the screen mirroring tool to stream onto the television. You can then watch all of your favorite media streamed from your phone directly to your Panasonic TV!

When it comes to screen mirroring, there is a lot you can do with just a few simple steps. If you want to know what the detailed process is like, you need to keep reading this article. To make things as easy as possible, we have gone through all of the major steps you need to complete to screen onto your Panasonic TV!

How To Screen Mirror To A Panasonic TV

The modern smartphone has brought about a massive change in our lives. Where we once had to watch things on our televisions, we can now watch whatever we want through a device that fits into a pocket. However, there is one limitation to this – the smaller screen. Fortunately, there exists a mechanism through which you can screen to your TV and watch all of your favorite videos on a bigger TV screen. This is called screen mirroring, and we will go through the process you need to follow in the steps below:

Connect The TV To The Same WiFi Network

The first and foremost step to making your TV mirror your phone is to put both devices onto the same WiFi network. Here are the steps you need to follow to make that happen:

  1. Switch on your TV, and make sure that the WiFi network is accessible.
  2. Now, press the Menu button on the TV remote.
  3. From the Menu, navigate to the Network Settings.
  4. Choose the heading Network Connection, and then move to Setup.
  5. Add in your WiFi Network name and password and choose the Select Button to confirm your submission.

At the same time, make sure that the phone you are using is connecting to the same WiFi network. You can set this up using the Settings menu and choose the WiFi network you connect to. If this is the first time you are using this Internet connection, you will need to add in the password you’ve set for the WiFi network.

Open Up The Apps Menu Button On The TV

Once your TV and the phone are on the same WiFi network, it is time you go to the next step of this process. You can usually find the Apps Button on the remote, on the right-hand side next to the more prominent round button. You can also access this through the Home button, from where you can go to a heading called Smart Zone. From here, you select the option Wireless Display. Then you are ready to move on to the next step of this process.

Set Up Mirroring

With the Apps menu open, you can now go straight to an App known as ‘Mirroring.’ You will often see the heading as an icon. The icon will show two monitors side by side, displaying the same image, albeit the two monitors will be of different sizes. Choose this option using the OK button, and as soon as you do this, the TV will begin the mirroring process and show you the instructions you need to follow to make mirroring happen properly.

Open Up Phone Settings

Now, you need to shift your attention back toward your phone. On your phone, open up the Screen Mirroring option. You can usually do this from your apps or from the Quick Settings panel that you can see as you swipe down on Androids. Once you switch on Screen mirroring, you will be able to connect to the TV. However, keep in mind that depending on the OS and the model of your phone, you may have to look around to find the option. Some phones do not have this option at all.

Connect The TV To Your Phone

You are now at the final stage of connecting the TV and your phone. Once you open up the screen mirroring option, your phone will scan nearby devices on the same network. If you have followed all of the steps above, you should be able to see the name of your Panasonic TV. It would help if you tapped the name of the TV on the list of devices on your phone.

Now, the phone will give you a connection prompt that you will need to confirm on both the phone and the TV. Select OK from your remote to confirm the selection on your TV. As a result, your TV and phone will set up a connection, and you will be able to mirror the phone screen with your TV.

Troubleshooting Issues With Connection

As with any other process you start between devices, there is always a chance that you can run into issues with connection. If your mirroring process gets stuck at the Connecting stage, try the following tips:

  • Restart the WiFi connection on both your TV and your phone.
  • Switch your Panasonic TV off, switch it on, and try the process again.
  • Bring your phone closer to the TV to get a better connection.

If all else fails, you can also try using third-party apps that assist with the process of casting from your phone to your Panasonic TV.

Conclusion

Seeing things from your phone to your TV can make things a lot easier. Using a mirroring process, you can easily use your TV to watch videos, scroll through pictures, and much more.
