Our next plan is the first building that appears on the list. In this case, the designer has used the Tower Bridge set number 10214 and has created a corner building with a cafe, a bakery, and a museum.

This MOC is very well done and the plan is easy to follow. All the comments speak highly of the process of building this MOC. MOC – Wing Body Truck

Designer: Madoca1977

Inventory: 4128 parts

Theme: Technic

Another excellent plan from Madoca1977. This is the biggest MOC from this creator. It is a very complex model to build and it includes a lot of moving parts. To give you a glimpse, there are two motors for driving, one motor for steering, two motors for opening each side of the cargo bay, two motors for operating the tailgate, one motor for tilting the cabin and one motor for the lights.

The video that accompanies the description is the best way to see what this set can offer. The best news is that this plan can be accessed for free, which is quite unique for such a detailed and complicated creation. You can find it by clicking here.

MOC – RC Liebherr LTM11200

Designer: Jeroen Ottens

Inventory: 7706 parts

Theme: Technic

This plan is astonishing and the size of it blew us away. This is a version of the Liebherr LTM11200 crane. The model uses 8 motors to drive 18 separate functions. The model, when built, measures 1.3 meters long and a mind-boggling 2.5 meters high when the crane is extended. According to the author, all 18 functions can be operated remotely using the LEGO PF system. However, there are three functions that need manual support (extending the boom, raising the stabilizer arms, and rotating the superstructure).

The comments on this design are over the top because the designer has used some brilliant solutions to overcome the challenges. You can buy this plan on Rebrickable if you click in this link.

MOC – Hogwarts Castle (71043) Epic Extension

Designer: Playwell Bricks / Ryan Kroboth

Inventory: 19307 parts

Theme: Harry Potter

We have also featured this MOC on our post “The Coolest LEGO Castle Plans” and it is one of our favorite plans from the list. This epic extension has a total of 19,307 parts, and that is without including the original pieces. If you add them up, the final castle would have a total of 25,327 pieces. That makes this model the one with the most pieces.

But also the measurements are out of this world. This castle measures over 130.6 cm (51.4 in) wide, 93.7 cm (36.9 in) long, and 62.8 cm (24.7 in) high. As for the instructions? Well, if you want to build this plan, get ready to go through more than 3,000 pages of instructions. But the result is well worth it!

MOC – The Empire over Jedha City

Designer: onecase

MOC – The Iron Giant

Designer: buildbetterbricks

Inventory: 818 parts

This plan is quite simple compared to most of the other plans on the list, but we liked it so much that it made it into the list. When built, this figure measures 13 inches (33 cm) high and 17 inches (43 cm) wide (with the arms extended). Apart from a very good design that has captured the essence very well, what we liked the most about this plan is the 27 points of articulation, which allow the builder to put this figure into several postures.

The instructions are not very long, only 115 pages. You can buy them if you follow this link.

MOC – Sisyphus Automata (Motorized)

Designer: JKBrickworks

Inventory: 1236 parts

Theme: Sculptures

The next plan is also not the most complex in terms of building it or the number of pieces it has, but it has also a very nice and original design. This design features Greek mythology Sisyphus and his boulder and what we liked the most is how realistically the figure moves.

This plan is freely available, which makes it even more appealing. You can access it by clicking here. You will also be able to see the description and the video where you can see Sisyphus moving.

MOC – Tatra 813 Trial Truck

Designer: Madoca1977

Inventory: 2527 parts

Theme: Technic

Another excellent plan from Madoca1977, this truck will go over any bump without major problems. The video posted in the description of this set showcases it. With 8 wheels that move independently, it adapts easily and does not lose stability. It is also powerful enough to go up steep planes.

The best part of this plan? That it is freely available, so you can download it and check it before you commit to paying any money to secure the pieces. You can find it if you click on this link.

MOC – UCS Venator Republic Attack Cruiser

Designer: Aniomylone

This creation was released in 2009, which makes it one of the oldest creations on the list. According to the designer, Lepin (a company known for ripping off all LEGO sets) has even done a set that copies this design.

That alone should show how well done this set is. If you want to buy this plan, you can do so on Rebrickable by clicking here.

The Imperial Star Destroyer Monarch is the next plan on the list. This is one of the biggest models from the list, with over 11,000 pieces. This is a huge model, measuring 118 cm x 71 cm x 39 cm. The instructions amount to 1,500 pages.

Most comments from people building this highlight the quality of the model and its stability and the clarity of the instructions. Overall, this is a big undertaking but a very enjoyable experience. MOC – Minifig Scale AT-AT w/ Interior

Designer: jhaelego

This is a very special one. According to the designer, it took him one year to design it and build it, so you can see how much effort was involved in this creation. This minifig scale AT-AT walker stands at 2 feet (60 cm) tall, which gives you an idea of its scale. According to the designer, the model is strong enough to be lifted and moved.

It features, between other things, an articulated head area, removable panels to reveal the interior, and two floors with seating areas. This plan is another beast. Almost 20,000 pieces and 15 months of work have gone to create the ISD Intimidator 77525. According to the designer, the aim of this creation was “ a set that was as proportionally accurate to the original filming prop of the Avenger from A New Hope as possible, but is also as affordable as possible while being at 60” or longer.”

The result is this huge set, measuring over 59.5 inches (190 studs, 151.1 cm) in length, 37 inches (117 studs, 94 cm) in width, and 24 inches  (75 studs, 61 cm) in height. The comments are all very positive about this MOC and, with only 3,811 pieces, it shouldn’t be a huge undertaking to build it all. If you want more information about this creation or if you want to buy the plan to build it, you can do so by following this link.

MOC – Central Perk Big Bang Theory modular

Designer: Berthil

Inventory: 4294 parts

Theme: Creator > Creator Expert

This plan was created this year but it is already one of the most popular sets on Rebrickable. According to the designer, more than 120 hours went into creating this set. This plan combines both Central Perk (21319) and Big Bang Theory (21302) sets into one big set while at the same time keeping all the original design elements of both sets.

One of the best things is that these instructions come free of charge. According to the designer, if you own both sets highlighted above, you already have about one-third of the bricks required to build this creation. If you would like to get a bit more information on what bricks you need or would like to download the instructions, you can do so by clicking here.

MOC – Crane Truck

Designer: Lucioswitch81

Inventory: 8230 parts

Theme: Technic

Our next plan is also from Lucioswitch81, being this the second big vehicle from him on the list. This one is not as big as the Airport Crash Tender, but it is in any case impressive. Measuring over 108 studs (86.4 cm) long, 31 studs (24.8 cm) wide, 49 studs(39.2 cm) high, it will be a challenge to build this beast.

It has a lot of powered functions, but the one that impressed us the most is how the crane unfolds. This is a state-of-art creation that you will enjoy during and after building it. If you want to purchase the plans or want to know a bit more about this plan, you can check it out here.

This is a very detailed and well-designed creation, which can be seen in all the positive comments that are left on the page. If you want to give this plan a try or you want more information about it, you can check it out by following this link.

MOC – Life-Size Custom Baby Groot

Designer: buildbetterbricks

Inventory: 595 parts

Theme: Super Heroes > Guardians of the Galaxy

Our next plan is a fairly simple one, but we love the design. This is a life-sized LEGO Baby Groot. What we liked the most about this set is that, by articulating the mouth and the eyebrows, the designer has given people the freedom to change the expression of the figure easily and very effectively. In addition to that, other parts such as elbows, knees, or hips are articulated, which makes this figure a great toy to play with.

If you would like to purchase it or learn a bit more about this plan, you can do so by following this link to Rebrickable.

MOC – Modular Cathedral

This is one of the most impressive plans from the list, both for the size and for the technical difficulty in building it. To give you an idea of the magnitude of this undertaking, it took the designer one and a half years to build it. It uses a lot of advanced techniques, such as stained glass windows or vertically placed bricks. The designer only recommends this set for experienced builders.

When built, this church measures 37 cm x 78 cm x 87 cm. The instructions are over 1,200 pages long. Overall, an extremely challenging set to build, but that can be very rewarding for experienced builders that love the modular building series and are looking for an epic cathedral to complete their city. MOC – Liebherr LR 11000 Crawler Crane

Designer: OleJka

Inventory: 3645 parts

Theme: Technic

This is a very impressive creation, with the model towering over 2 meters when built. As a downside, it seems that the instructions are a bit complicated to follow and there are some unnecessary pieces listed and some pieces missing in the inventory.

It is, in any case, worth checking out, and a good challenge to try if this is the type of models you like to build. You can check it out here.
