Essential oils are a great option to pure, non-toxic perfume! Ylang Ylang and Grapefruit perfume will calm and uplift your spirits.
My oldest daughter loves the smell of grapefruit essential oil. After researching the ingredients in store bought perfumes, I was glad to buy some essential oils so she can make non-toxic perfume. Most store bought perfumes contain benzaldehyde, benzyl acetate, benzyl alcohol, ethanol, limonene, linalool and methylene chloride. These ingredients can cause liver toxicity, lung irritations, nervous system disorders, respiratory irritations and more.
On the flip side, certified pure ylang ylang provides antioxidant support and has a calming effect on the body. Grapefruit essential oil improves the mood, is good for the skin and boosts the immune system. It’s really a no brainer. Why put toxins on the skin when it’s super simple to make organic perfume that will benefit the body.
