What if I want to build other airplanes that are not an official set?

For enthusiasts of LEGO, maybe you don’t want to build a standard set, but you would like to get a bit more creative than that. If that is the case, I would recommend that you purchase the following book titled “How To Build Brick Airplanes: Detailed LEGO Designs for Jets, Bombers, and Warbirds”. You can find it on Amazon following this link.

The book gives detailed plans for different types of airplanes, starting with very simple ones and building up to more complex models. It is a very well rated book with only a few out of date references to brick colors that don’t take too much effort to go around.
