Classical Conversations Cycle 1 Week 19 Lesson Plans:

As a homeschool family, we enjoy participating in our local Classical Conversations community.  Classical Conversations supports homeschooling parents by cultivating the love of learning through a Christian worldview in fellowship with other families.
Below is our daily planner for Classical Conversations Cycle 1 Week 19.  We supplement this curriculum with Math and Language Arts.

Day 1:  Attend CC campus
Day 2:

• Bible – Exodus 20:1-17
  • Handmotions Video
• History – Tell me about the Anasazi
  • Listen to song from Weekly CD or CC Connected x3
  • Book:  Anasazi
• Timeline – Review timeline cards (pick a card and read the back or recite an interesting fact to your child)
• Latin – Recite 3rd Declension Noun Endings x3
  • Video: 1st – 5th Declension Song
• Science – Recite x3: What are the ocean zones?
  • Video:  Exploring the zones

Day 3:

• Timeline – Watch timeline video from RafikiPaka on CC Connected x3
• English – Recite x3:  Helping Verbs
  • Video:  Helping Verb Song
• Math – Recite x3:  Area of a circle
  • Geometry song on CC Connected by user Nogreaterjoy5
    • Here’s an example
• Geography – Find Mesoamerica: Mexico City, Chichen Itza, Lake Texcoco, Mayapan, Oaxaca
• Fine Arts – Intro to Orchestra
  • Play Orchestra song from CC CD and use puppets from foundations guide to talk about the instruments.
  • Listen to Handel, Bach and Mozart

Day 4:
