I’ve used homemade laundry detergent for several years now. I started with a liquid version of this recipe but usually revert to this one because it takes less time and it doesn’t take up as much space.
Ingredients:
4 c. Borax
4 c. Super Washing Soda
1 bar Dr. Bronner’s Soap
10 drops essential oil (lavender, lemon, or orange are my favorite’s)
Directions:
Shred the bar of soap or put it in the microwave for a minute. It will swell and crumble easily. Mix all ingredients together and that’s it. Easy Peasy! Use 2 tablespoons per load. This is homemade laundry detergent is cheap and very effective.
