Microwave Steam Cleaner Recipe

Are you looking for a natural microwave steam cleaner recipe?

I’ve never been good at remembering to cover food when using the microwave.  I usually have to clean my microwave a few times a month and this simple microwave steam cleaner recipe works great every time.  All you need is a little vinegar and water!

Ingredients:
2 cups water
1 tbsp vinegar
Directions:
Pour ingredients in a glass microwave dish.  Turn on the microwave for 3-5 minutes.  This will steam up the walls and loosen the gunk.  Wipe clean.
Note: When the timer goes off, don’t open the microwave right away. Leave the door shut for 2-3 more minutes to let the steam continue to work. The steam will help loosen up caked on bits of food, and the vinegar and lemon oil will help eliminate any odors.
When you open the door, be careful pulling the bowl out; it will be very hot! Remove the turntable tray and wash it in the sink.
Take your sponge and wipe down the inside of the microwave; the dirt and food will come right off!
